John Lester of Foxpine - RIP

I'm sorry if this has already been posted, or should be posted somewhere else, but as John was well amongst the NZ homebuilt and microlight circles, I'm sure many people will want to know.

Recieved via the Kapiti Aero Club this morning;

Our apologies if your emails and telephone calls have been unanswered. This is due to the rapidly deteriorating illness John has suffered since Christmas time.

1. Many of you may already have heard that John and I, as of the middle of January 2010, have resigned as New Zealand agents for Jabiru Aircraft and Engines. We suggest that any enquiries, parts orders etc be referred to JABIRU AUSTRALIA – contact details can be accessed on their website.
2.

OBIT

Following an illness JOHN LESTER of FoxPine AirPark passed away suddenly on Friday 19th 2010. His funeral service will be held at the Dempsey & Forrest Funeral Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui on this Friday, 26 February 2010 at 1pm.

3. FOXPINE AIRPARK remains open. Hangerage and fuel facilities are still
available. From the beginning of March Microlight training will continue
and the Pilot Centre will once more be available to pilots.

Regards,

Jennifer Lester @ FoxPine
