Goggles

The picture on the front cover of Flight Safety is the 'Screaming Skull' looking at the aviation world through his 'safety eyes' !!
Or perhaps it is an advertisement for what goodies you can buy from 'certain electronic stores' ??

I should be so lucky...in the six and half years I have had an ARN, I have NEVER ONCE received Flight Safety. I didn't even know I was supposed to be getting it until six months ago.

You lot should all think yourselves lucky. I didn't get one at all

Wiz - only $480 for your AOC renewal, i just got charged $640 for a check pilot renewal, last time it cost me $400ish, but they just signed the piece of paper, this time they actually hopped in the plane and observed some flying so that means they can charge more. Maybe i should send them a bill for the aircraft time.

I got 2 as well, reading one the other went into recycling as I dont know anyone else who would be interested in reading it. More taxpayers money wasted on duplicate postage.

CASA will be increasing the licence and medical fees in the 09/10 financial year by 50% due to increased printing costs of the flight safety magazine.

I'd happily trade in one of the several 73 page magazines I recieved for a free 1 page copy of my medical next year....

We apologise for that inconvenience it was human error
CASA, if I make a simple human error then you fail me on my IR renewal.

What's good for the goose.....

I've had 2 before but not of late. Me thinks they send multiple ones out to those that have submitted the most ESIR's:-)

I tell you what though my knowledge of AD's etc of A/C greater than 5700kg has improved out of sight:-) Am now keen to turn a spanner on a Jumbo Jet:-)

One good thing about the FS Mag is if you find a nice quite place in the sun in front of a window on a cold day you can be asleep in oh around 5 mins reading most of the feet putting to sleep material in there:-) Any other issues that get doubled up keep me warm when the sun is not out, by way of stuffing them into my wood heater where they serve the most use:-)

Bring back the real deal, not the politically correct gay version we see these days but I guess CASA know best right?:-(
