Will we see a boom in pilot recruitment in 12 months time?

Will recruitment boom again in 12 - 18 months time, or are we back to the dark days of the 90's when it will be a long, long slog to get into the airlines.

Of course I hear you say, how long is a piece of string.

It's the old adage ... "It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know."

Always rings true for every walk of life, not just aviation.

WOW! You've obviously got a bl00dy impressive crystal ball(s).............care to send Teepee and me a PM with your 'tips' for the winners for this year's AFL and Rugby League Grand Finals and also the Melbourne Cup so we can get in early with some 'flutters' on Centrebet?

Howard..........

I specifically asked you to PM your tips to Teepee and me!

Now you've gone public on the Saints........AND what's worse, done it on PPRuNe, I reckon you've completely buggered up our chances with Centrebet!

As for the nags, don't bet on anything I put my money on...

The only reason I can think of for your advice here to us is that maybe it's because each the horse you bet on is sooooooooo good that it takes about a dozen or so of the other ones in the same race to beat 'em.

My possibly hazy memory only racalls another shortage like last years and that was in the early sixties. Shortages are always forecast and rarely seen. Don't hold your breath.
