QF International Seat Selection

I've got a flight MEL-AKL booked later this month, and was wondering if QF have organised their online seat selection that they announced back in September?

Does anybody have any recent info?

The value of the Pprune forum is measured by the quality of the discussion and input.

Sarcasm adds no value whatsoever but says a lot about the contributor.

I shoud've been a little clearer in the original post (sorry!). I meant to ask when QF will allow Pax to choose their own seats during online check-in (like domestic) for their international flights? Their press release back in September said "Early 2009", but I've heard no further info.

Highflyer787, excuse the cat flight going on in this thread - once they run out of piss they should settle down.

Not sure about the online check-in seat selection. If you can't, might pay to arrive a little early and ask for the seat you want - the old fashioned but mostly effective way.

PS: hope my spelling is correct

Is International different to Domestic in this regard as with domestic you can check / change your seat online but only within 24 hours of the scheduled boarding time or departure time, close enough.
