Search on this afternoon!

RAAF P3 Orion, Rescue Dornier, Coastwatch Dash 8 and the Qld Gov Beech 350 all headed somewhere this afternoon - "to the search site"!

Anyone got the goss?

There was something about a Ukrainian bloke off a cargo ship somewhere up your way. Might have had something to do with that??

news reports seem to confirm Stallies suggestion .. if someone was going to be found then the best chance was truly covered with all that search capability!

Compressor Stall is correct.A male crew member was believed to fall overboard. Approx 300nm ESE TVL.A Herc also particpated in the search.Unsure if the male was found

Thats 2 persons over the back of boats this week!
on Sat night apparently a Chinese male fell overboard somewhere between the middle of the Gulf of Carpentaria and somewhere north or Maningrida. that had 2 AMSA Dorneiers, 2 Coastwatch Dash-8's and a couple of smaller twins looking for it aswell.
