There was a time when I would answer that - but these days I am too identifiable, and I value my clearances too much!

FB

I do not know for certain what the criteria is but lets say from 7am to 9.30 am the have a window of arrivals for GA and they allow a 5 minute window for each, to arrive at the inbound point, then track at varying speeds land and then taxi in an unfamiliar airfield, parkinging them and then herding the cattle in the right direction, you can see that 30 or maybe only 3 -5 more could be handled with limited resources.

They do not operate a place like YBSK, and have other things going on so I can see why it is limited. I missed out this year. Last time however I had a 7.20am slot and I think there were only about 15 that went.

The next issue is departing, they have everybody out and for some who require daylight at destination they must be sure they can get everyone out in time, and there is NO way you can camp under the wing if its too late!

Wish I was there, sounds like it was a great show. Surely the Pigs will be flying at Avalon next year? They will still be in service.
Well done to Hally and Luke for the Herc display

There is a thread on here that covers why do Bou was not there for the Airshow.
If you love her then pray for her as father time may have caught up with her.

Oh tipsy, don't you realise that only the F-111 can defend Australia against 4-5th generation fighter aircraft?
