YPJT Tailwheel endos

Hello Ppruners,

Just joined the forum and have a question for Jandakot regulars. Apart from the Chippy at RACWA, who else can do tailwheel endorsements? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Can highly recommend the RAC's Chippy and the services of a crusty old instructor.

The only other place that springs to mind is the company co located with Fighter Combat International (not sure of their name) which operates 2x Super Decathlons. If you want contact details PM me and I will find it out for you.

Attitude Aerobatics certainly the go. I think the 2 super decathalons are 2005 or newer so great machines and very dedicated instructors towards tailwheel and aero's.

TAC is up and running again after successfully dealing with some very dodgy (illegal) behaviour by JAH. I think JAH need some new lawyers as it's hard to believe that anyone properly advised would behave the way they did. The CAP10 though is still in the hangar - I'm looking forward to having a go in it when it's back in the air.

If you don't mind travelling you could check out Albany. Ralph Burnett is probably one of the best tail wheel instructors around. Also Chris Shine does a lot of the training and checking for the CALM (or whatever they call themselves this month) pilots. Pretty sure he is still up in Geraldton.

Yup TAC are back and operating and certain individuals within JAH are having sleepless nights

Thanks for all the leads folks, I'll make some calls this week and maybe bite the bullet and do an aerobatics rating at the same time (if I can get it approved by "the authorities" - the missus )

Attitude Aerobatics. Get to fly reasonably new aircraft (Super Decathlon) and Jeremy has got plenty of experience with tailwheel and aeros (including competition).

I concur with YPJT on Chris Shine, one of the last of the old school bush pilots if you can track him down he is the man, last i heard though he was living in Bunbury with his scarecan as he no longer owns Shine Aviation.

So does everyone know what FKM and FKQ stand for...

I nearly pissed myself when I heard the 2nd was going on as FKQ.

FKM = F'em.
FKQ = F you.

True story.

Ralph is indeed one of the best, unfortunately he's sold his Super Cube, so if you want a taildragger ticket, then you'll have to take one down to him.

The FK series was about all that was left. Pitts drivers have already taken FUC & FOQ. I had to settle for MC...
