Pretty new to the industry eh snowmonsta??? Your posts would seem to indicate so...

That's the sort of advice/action that makes this industry so difficult. If you are 'good enough' to be selected for a job on offer, then the operator must consider you 'good enough' that he will train you wherever necessary to operate his machinery, at his own expense. DO NOT offer to self-fund any type-ratings to get a job. You are under-cutting other pilots wages and conditions every time you do so.

Having said that however, by all means pursue a 206 rating to make yourself more employable and open many other potential avenues for application. That rating alone will do a hell of a lot more for you than any time on a P68.

Very nice aircraft the C206, has made a lot of operators plenty of dough.

I think PK's one is on floats?

yeah dogtucker, PK's was on floats -he no longer flies for that outfit, with Mainland in DN now. I'm not sure if she's still on floats or not, may have been reconverted now. There was another 206 on wheels and a 182 there also. Tried to reach PK in the weekend, but no joy. Will try again soon, post any updated information as it comes to hand.

Further, as far as I know, PK still has access to the aircraft for type-ratings.
