Try posting in the rotorhead forums, but the only twin pilot IFR operation around sydney is childflight afaik. There are no helicopter charter companies tha i can think of in the sydney basin that offer that sort of service because it is purely not commercially viable at 2 - 3000 per hr.

Why do you need twin pilot ifr if you don't mind me asking? If its for some sort of contract, I'm sure you could work something out.

Blue Sky Helicopters runs a 206L out of SKSA. Not sure if it fits your requirements, but you can look him up

My apologies. 206 BIII, not a 206L.

Mark runs a very professional service. As stated, Childflight is the only dual pilot operation in NSW (that Im aware of) and they are busy ferrying very sick kiddies around the country.

Give Mark a call.

Helio? Is that plank wing for "helicopter" ?!

Since Merlin wants a twin, with two pilots, choices are limited. 206/206L's aren't twins: best bet is to look for an Agusta A109 or a BK117, but there aren't many IFR 117's around outside the EMS ships. There could be a 109 Grand down at Albion Park with an AOC, they were planning a couple of months ago to operate it for charter. I think GoJet is the parent company.

Otherwise try Kareela Aviation at Bankstown, who have two BK117 on fire contract (not IFR, IIRC) or TrueWest, who have a 117C/EC145 also on fire contract, when they're not operating to the yacht in the North West.

Costs are going to be up around $4k/hour, especially for two pilots. Other option would be The Helicopter Service Australia out of Melbourne, with a 7-8 hour round trip ferry

Thanks folks

Thanks for all your answers, the twin/IFR/2 pilot ops is purely down to the personal insurance requirements. I have to apply the same criteria wherever.

Thanks again.

Cheers
