Tiger Moth Coldstream/Lilydale

I'm looking for a Tiger Moth to take some friends for a spin from Coldstream or Lilydale airports.

Unfortunately my usual Tiger is in the hangar getting work done.

Want to take them up for some aerobatics, bit of a jolly. Have over 150hrs in Tigers (60 odd this year), more than half would be aerobatic flights. Love the old girls, been around them a long time, promise i'll take good care of that Gipsy up front.

Happy to do a check flight.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Dave,

Not many on lines around ML at all. There was one a Royal Vic some time back, but I think it's gone now. You could ask at Tooradin. They have two down there, but one is flat out doing joyrides and the other, I think, is U/S at the moment. Last time there was one at LIL doing joyrides, it was flown by the CP at Binis, Tony Rodjak. You might enquire with him as to where you could get one from.

Tony has moved on from Bini's but Lionel Taylor (the theory guru based there) might be able to take you out for a spin, although I'm not sure if Bini let you hire it out on a wet basis. Call them to enquire.

You'll have to just wait for your usual ride at Tooradin to be back online. Walrus - they only have one these days due to a clown bending the second one.
