Are you asking about Dave Matthesion (sp?) as I believe he was with Pacific Helicoptors and now with SIL. Oterwise, apologies, I guess you mean another Dave

Pilot in PNG in early 1970's
My family used to live in PNG back in the 70's. The other day my mum was trying to remember the name of a pilot (her memory isn't so good these days) who worked for either MAF or Talair, was based in Wewak, and his name was (probably) Ken Broadbent or Broadhurst... or something beginning with B... Brook?. His wife's name was possibly Ann or Helen...?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Nick,
If you post to this group you will get a bunch of answers in quick time - there are a few "lapun draivas" hanging out there

Sky Surfer...........a Dave Hooton used to fly Nomads for Provincial in the late 70's. Believe he ended up on bizjets, but not sure. I don't recall him having flown for TAL.

For all those interested Brian Brumley was my grandfather and he passed away a few years ago. Yes he did have a plane a 185, but a gentleman placed it onto the ground a bit hard, the call sign was MAB from memory, hard to recall as I was only a child.
Vicki is my mother, and yes, she is alive and well in Australia. Not interested in going back to PNG at all though. And she did get her pilots licence!

Brian Brumley was my Great Uncle! His Brother Ian was my pa.
I did fly Nomad's for Provincial Air in the early 1980's. Been in biz jets ever since, now flying a Citation C-525 (CJ-3) in POM, Cheers Dave H
