Grumpy Greyhound

TO those in the know. A young buk is about to go bush with his shiny new cpl/ir and am wondering what he could expect to be paid, say for c206 or c210 ? Am hearing an hourly rate [flying hour] is fairly common so if this is the case are there add ons like super, overnight expenses etc. Obviously things like location, employer come into it. Some impressions from some who are doing same at the moment woud be appreciated. Thanks GG.

Nothing less than the GA Award.

The award had provisions for a casual hourly rate too. This is roughly $51.50 for a single in the 210 range, and about $65 for a twin in the baron range from memory with a 2 hours paid minimum per day worked. Both figures are VFR. If you are required to have an IR for IFR flying then add a bit on to those. Super should be at 9% of weekly wage ON TOP. Overnights should be in the realm of $120ish, and waiting time should also be paid after a certain amount of hours.

Gives you an idea...
