Punter seeks to buy RPT AOC - advert in Australian
Was flicking through the Oz yesterday and stumbled accross this gem:
Wanted to buy - RPT AOC
Urgent
Joint Venture considered
confidentiality agreement must be signed before any info divulged
... or words to that effect.
1/. Does anybody just have a RPT AOC casually lying around these days?
2/. Assuming you did, surely the new Chief Pilot, CAR217 approvals and addition of Types (including specific serial nos) would still take 6+ months to get through CASA?
3/. .... anyone care to speculate as to who and where?

Very vague, no mention of high/low capacity, some more info on the part of the advertiser might elicit a better response!

There's 41 Scheduled Pax Service AOC's out there.... you are one of an elite group.
From my (paltry) understanding, there are three (Pelair, O'Connor, Syd. Seaplanes) who aren't using their RPT AOC.
That said, there is no requirement that the AOC aint being used although I sure as hell wouldn't risk MY AOC for some dude advertising in the paper.
