Who knows.......... SAW may do anything with them. My conversation with the SAW fellow went from.... if REX cant get drivers how will SAW...... then we moved onto other more important topics, so I can not expand further.

Thats 3 weeks ago now, a lot changes in 3 hours, let alone 3 weeks

Well, I know someone who just got a job with SAW driving Emb 145's. He is going to the states to receive training in a few weeks.

Looks like onwards and upwards.

Numbers on the BNE-HIR route are still very low, with many flights carrying less than 20. That route cannot support 3 operators, something has to give.

SAW needs a passenger friendly schedule because the current departure from BNE is 6am,check in 4am and unless you are within 15min from the airport then your wake-up call can be around 03:15.....If you had a
choice between a 6am or a 9:30 departure(ie Solomon Airlines........no pun intened)then 9:30 will get the majority of pax.

SAW has not thought through their schedule properly they need to compete in every way possible with IE.

Simple. From REX!

Provided they pay them enough.
