geeez those SIA business class 'bench' seats look like they where taken straight out of my old Holden HR I used to own
At least mine where 'lay back' bench seats with 'bonuses'
..................The aircraft will also have a variety of luxury features ranging from recreational multi-purpose facilities (like casino, gym fittness center, a fast-food franchise, duty-free shop, library, club-style bar, conference meeting room) to personal care amenities (stateroom with luxurious beds, shower, spa). You name it. However, these are just tentative features. It’s likely that each plane will have its own unique combination of services. To fit all these into one single airplane is undoubtedly a huge challenge. We’ll see what happens when its first commercial service is scheduled sometime this year.................
Can you imagine all this stuff onboard a plane? I can just see it now, the airlines are going to forgo a lot of 'bench seats' just to please a few 'suit' persons, the only ones that will be able to afford the ride at that level.
They designed & built the A380 for mass travel, cattle class. Their gunna have to build bigger 'pens' now for the "cattle"!

Oh well, the A380 interior is reflecting the exterior - UGLY. I hope he doesn't touch the 787.
Surely Borghetti is taking the ***s by actually praising the rubbish. Either he is just saying it or he truly believes it is good. If it is the later, kiss your CEO ambitions goodbye. The reaction from passengers will say it all.

Your Holden's bench seats probably were comfy, and a mile wide for those long (6-stubby) trips, which is why SQ have decided to put them in their 380s. Lots of Aussie ar5es have proven the comfort of those puppies for long hauls!

Do you get a free set of khaki / camo uniforms to go with it so you will blend into the environment. The big Q has really stuffed this one.

I believe that the colour green is meant to be a 'calming' colour, hmmmmm how do you keep several hundred pax calm when their passed out anyway after suffering from dehydration from excessive vomiting?
As awful as this sounds & it's just a mental picture story here how an earth are they going to find again several hundred pax if an A380 crashes into a green grassy field?
