QF testing

I am after some info about the Qantas intial psychometric testing. Does anyone know how they score the tests i.e. do you have to answer a minimum number of questions or is it an overall percentage? When do you normally hear the results? Thanks

Hey there,

I did the QF testing they are looking for a good balance of speed vs Accuracy.

My strong points are English comprehension so i am sure i went well in those tests and got through about 85% of the Q's.

Mathematic ability is quite hard in the fact that you are timed and the questions involve interpretation. usually about 1min per Q. I got through about 60% where others said they got through most of it...... either way I think my accuracy was o.k.

Its all about practice mate, do as many psychometric exams as you can find....plenty on the internet. Think about how you would get specific calculations done... for E.g - how would I get a percentage from two sets of data..... all the basic stuff you should no........ :-)

Just have a go...... when you feel ready... and guess what we never really feel ready especially after the testing.....

Safe to say I passed the tests, but you never find out the score.... instead they ask you 'how do you think you went?'..........

good luck
