Question Feedback from VB, QF etc. pilots wanted...

Hi,
well just wondering if anybody has experience with the application of Australian airlines like VB, QF etc.

I am just in the process of applying for a job as a pilot in down under. Well – so far I would fulfil all the requirements… except that I would still need to convert my license. Right now I have a JAA and FAA license (ATPL, Jet over 40t etc.).
To convert it – is not a big deal – just wondering if the airlines would look at foreigners – and if I have my license – if they would consider helping me with the visa issue.
No work – no visa --- no visa – no work… that is not the best approach to move to down under…
Anybody experience – or does somebody know where to ask, if they would consider the support
Thanks
BJ

If you've got B777 time Virgin might be able to help...

Otherwise I don't think Aussie airlines are in the business of sponsoring applicants, not YET anyway!

Question

Well - I have plenty of time . . . so you think I should not apply yet? Is it true, if you applyed once - that was you only chance and you can´t apply again?
