CHC is actually short for Canadian Helicopter Corporation, but I had to look that up. Everyone knows them as CHC.

Nah all jokes aside the 3 stripes usually mean Capt on A/C less than 5700 kg's

Come on guys stop guessing! Julie there is only one way to be 100% sure. Get your friend to take a photo of him in uniform (preferably at the local pub/club) and then post it here. You should get an answer pretty quick!

............hey 'centaurus' sure you can put 3 stripes on yr outfit if you fly a jabiru is it??........just remember that the AUW maybe comprimised esspecially seeing as there are rules for model planes over 7 Kg's MTOW

Some of the Sydney RFDS pilots have "PILOT" written on their white shirts.

..'cracked' 4 bars in a jabiru is just gross overweight & an utter disreguard for safety !

....now now 'stationair8' the pilots name on the RFDS shirt is for the 'pretty boy' look !
