i think the correct term is "silvo" 
hehe
well in australia it is anyway, theres silvo and brasso... one for silver and one for brass colour.. lol
we use brasso for our piano pedals, and silvo for uh.. silver candle holders and stuff...
but yeah, for one coat of silvo would be at least $200 i'd say
