I am trying to find out what is the pay to be expected for a multi ifr pilot in the bush?

Well lets get the ball rolling then.
You'd expect a base salary in the low to mid 30's and allowances that take it up to low to mid 40's. But... where I am currently (N.QLD), companies are directly competing against eachother to attract and keep good pilots, already these figures are pushing 50k.
Just started my first twin gig on 43k and accomodation provided.
Hope that gives you an idea.

thanks for that roger copy ta. I am looking at heading to nth qld in a couple of weeks. It's more than i expected - but I only know what the industry was like a few years back (****e)

I was getting $40k flying Barons and Chieftans in 1999/2000.
