Wanna fly a Virgin aircraft?
For those that are interested I snapped this on Saturday at Moorabbin.
For some of you it might be the only way you ever get to fly a Virgin aircraft...
Looks to be operated by Moorabbin Aviation Services. (Rego JYK)

Looks like she's run 2 crew as well. What does the F/O get pay wise I wonder?

The cynic in me sees it now.
Paint a lightie (SE < 5700kg) in airline livery and then charge for a specific type endorsement. Oh wait on, some operators have already pulled this scam.

I have about 8 hours in this aircraft, including an hour this morning. I really like this warrior - but there is definately _nothing_ innocent or virgin-like about this particular airplane - That said, like most of the MAS aircraft, it's pretty well maintained and easy to fly (not so subtle plug - hope my instructor reads this! )
ATC really like this airplane - "you're number 2 behind the cherokee with the red tail" seems to be a common theme when doing circuits.
Apparently it was painted up recently when someone took it around Australia along with some sponsorship. I don't know the exact details but it's nice and slippery.
My only complaint is the extremely slow response of the hostesses (I kept pressing the button but nobody turned up) and it's quite difficult to fit the food trolley between the seats as it gets stuck on the trim wheel.
