Looking for pilot logbooks
Hello all,
Myself and a few other pilots are looking for new logbooks. (well old ones)
The CAA / CASA log books of the mid to late 90's
It seems just about every year the lay out changes. Being stuck in our ways we like them the way they were!
If anyone has any of these logbooks lying around, that havn't been used, or know of a crate in a warehouse somewhere full of them
Please PM me,
Many Thanks

Maiden,
Try a long established flying school.
Out the back in a box will be a load of old student records which often include log books.
Many only have a page or two with entries.
Remove same and presto a "new" logbook.

just curious .. but what do the old ones have that the new ones don't?
Not endorsement on design features or flight proceedures, just plain old aeroplane endorsements!
Who needs an endorsements page when the endorsements are all written and stamped in yer green cardboard license folder.
Oh wait, you young whippersnappers have that plastic thingy don't you.

Yeah, but, Peter if you older types want to add an endorsement 'they' won't stamp the endorsement "in yer green cardboard license folder" anymore.
I've had a few log books issued by the Australian Government in one form or another. I'm about to run out of room in the latest (which was printed in '89) so I'm looking for a new log book too. I like the older ones because they are very simple and plain. I'm not a fan of the Aussie log books I've looked at recently.
I've looked at two from Jeppesen. The Professional Pilot Log Book looks pretty good. It's got green pages and I reckon it would work well in Australia. The other Jep log book I looked at is for JAR ops. White pages, one line for each sector - with turning points thrown in. It looks like a real pain, unless you intend to go flying around Europe.
Cheers,
