My stats are 600hr TT

Endorsement cost on A320 cost me $45,000 US (I was abit behind the aircraft at times) But hey I made it!

Aw,c'mon Jimmy boy, stop talking in riddles. There are NO "large" carriers in Asia that have such low minimum requirements, with or without A320 rating.
Now fess up or go out and play in the sandpit with all the other kids

Why is it that people can not accept the fact that some young guys, like myself get their big break at an early age? So what all jet drivers need to have 40,000hrs to have cred, to get the gig!

How good are you? You, like all of us are only as good as your next flight.

With that sort of a profile, you will only be as good as the captain that is holding your hand for the next couple of years.

Yep sounds like a wind up to me too.
But in case its not... so how did you get around the following requirements?
FIRST OFFICERS
1. Current ICAO ATPL
· With rating:
500 jet hours on A320 family a/c
· Without rating:
1500 jet hours on a/c heavier than 20000kg (MTOW)
(From Silk@@@ website)

Jimmy, no one minds a young ace getting a break in this industry. It's fantastic. What we don't like is bull about jobs with large Asian carriers being available to pilots with 600TT and 100hrs on a light twin !

Sorta gives young blokes a false sense of hope, if you get my drift.

Now you can clear this up real quick. Name the operator, so as a few more young blokes can get a job or.............................never mind.

If you haven't done your research before you leap then more fool you!

Were you a 'cadet' James?

I think it's the $55000 AUD endorsement cost that shows the fool. Wow. What an idiot.

Well yeah i accept that, the jump from Pa44 to Airbus was huge. But the chance of a job drove me through it.

I hope you're not posting under your real name...warm welcome awaiting you if you are.

Mind you how many 600TT PA44 pilots have they hired?

Could have thought of a lot better ways to spend $55,000 and still have a better job at the end of it . In fact I reckon I could have come out with about $50,000 change, .

Some people just don't do their research.
