Which Airport is this?
Does anyone know which airport this is? It does not appear on the charts and it looks military. A friend of mine took this photo from a Dash 8 north-west of Sydney.

Looks like it's had a fair makeover since the Google earth pic was taken, perhaps for the APEC summit?

Hmmmm, maybe it's something to do with moving a whole Blackhawk squadron there...??
It almost looks like one could taxi a helicopter into those carports!

Not Williamtown
I really thought it was williamtown, one runway, military, and the surrounds look the same....just checked the ERSA and that aint it!!

Thanks for all the responses.... I had a PM indicate that it is illegal to post the photo. Does anyone know if this is the case? If it is then we living in sad times, I mean how many people would fly over the area each day or over and around other military bases for that matter....
To the best of my knowledge - it is illegal to take photos of military establishments - which this clearly is.
That's what the sign on the side of the road at the Townsville airport (combined military/civil) says.
