Jetstar basings

Can anyone shed some light on where the jetstar pilot bases are? Is NTL still a base? Thank-you in advance.

They are all probably too busy writing job applications for elsewhere.

Yes and as for overnights its interesting that the two Oz LCC's have very different views on the costs associeated with overnights. Ask any VB pilot and they will tell you that they do too many.

Do you MEL guys get to bid for your rostered trips?

That 1900 to 0700 MEL-DRW-MEL is a shocker, and I was a pax!

Just out of curiosity, do pilots applying for Jetstar go through the same interview and selection process as Qantas with pschy tests etc?
Yeah, so they say, but the guys that fail the tests to get into QF, subsequently seem to pass the tests to get into Jetstar.

It would appear that it is not the tests that are relevant; it is the level that is considered to be a pass.

But this is OK because most of the Impulse guys are also QF rejects from years past, so the standard is consistent.
