Always great to see an interesting Hi-res Black and White photo in this age of colour....
Have put this one up before, but it is one of my favourites from my 'era of exploration things photogenic', long ago..
The unusual thing with the light here, is that when set at certain angles it made the childs lime-washed hair on the right appear almost halo like in transparency.. My Dad commented on the practice of lime-washing Melanesian curly hair when he visited also..

Piano Man......Just beautiful set of pics. i luv the refelction in the throttle in the first pic and there is so much going on in the third pic so may reflections and shadows begining from the wing in the forground

Negative Chuck, Original and Untouched, that was just the light, -thats why that print is a favorite.. Can't remember now if it was taken with the old auto light Pentax I had when I first arrived, or the new Minolta I bought duty free from the Vietnamese store in Vila on an overnight before the 'Middle East and European Grande Tour' in '81. Probably the former..
