Jetstar Terms and Conditions
After having read the Jetstar award, I have a number of genuine questions relating to the Jetstar T & Cs. Could someone please PM me with answers to the following:
1. Average Block Hours flown per month.
2. Average days worked per month.
3. Average Flying density per day and sectors per day.
4. Average Nights away per month.
5. Rostering.
-How are trips allocated?
-How do you get set days off each month if required?
6. Leave
-How is this allocated. i.e Who determines Christmas/Holiday priorities?
-How does sick leave work?
7. Training
-How is this paid? I.e. What credit is applied for Sim/EPs etc
8. Pay
-Are you paid fortnightly or monthly?
-Do you have the option to salary sacrifice computers/cars?
-What allowances are provided if any?
Regards
Happy

A lot has been said about the Jetstar T & C's, but are they really any better at VB?
According to the above website the Jetstar FO base wage is actually higher, although VB guys would earn a lot more in allowances due to number of overnights. I know there's more to T & C's than just money, but do any VB or JQ drivers care to elaborate on the differences in conditions between the 2 companies.
