Increasing fuel prices Vs allowances

I don't normally post that often but though it would be interesting to ask around and see peoples thoughts on the current fuel prices (mainly NZ but I no OZ are getting shafted to)

Some companies in NZ pay thier staff a fourtnightly travel allowance, now I haven't checked mine for a while but i doubt it has gone up! Fuel on the other hand has, infact in the last 2 years it has gone up 50 Cents (around a 40% increase from 2 years ago). Do you think it should be/will be adjusted?

Thoughts comments ect ect???????????????????
