Flying Schools in Redcliffe

Thanks everyone for the replies to my last post. I m looking to regan currency and then (hopefully) move on to commercial training.

Was wondering if any one has any thoughts about Australian Air Flight Training in regards past experiences? I have sent them an email but they dont seem to want to reply!

Regards

Denning.

Feel free to reply privately if you wish i know these kinda of requests for info about particular schools can go a bit off the ball!

Denning,

I completed all of my training at Australian Air Flight Training at Redcliffe and am certainly very happy with the quality of the training.

Give them a ring on 3204 2122 or I think they will be at the Caboolture airshow this weekend.

Recent media reports suggest (and we all know everything you read in the paper is true!!) that some of the flying schools up that way have had some very experienced and unique instructors. There was supposedly one who has even flown under the SY Harbour Bridge! Now that's an experience!!! I'm not sure how she went with Air Law though???

If you can find Harry Smeulders and he is still willing, you will have found one of the best instructors in the world.

He has taught about half of Oz to fly.

Training at Redcliffe

The Redcliffe Aero Club is definately worth looking at. I did all my training there (inc mecir) and they were very professional. Now working up North and thoroughly enjoyed my training experience. (They also have a C206 on line for dual training- great way to prep for the North).
