210 prang

I believe that a C210 had an undercarriage problem while it was landing on the Tiwi Islands, north of Darwin last week. I have no idea if it was a proper wheels up or if the gear collapsed during landing but the aircraft ended up in the grass beside the strip a bit bent and sad. Everyone on board was completely unhurt. I believe it was an Air Frontier machine. That's about all I know.

I heard that H.A. flew the media over for FREE to photograph said 210. Hope it's not true. If it is, that bloke who published that nasty pamphlet mentioned a week a go, might have to print regular updates!!!

Everyone up north knows you have been talking sh$t for a long time HA.
I know of a few operators lining up to fly the press to your next prang, where ever it is. Atleast the pilot in question DIDN`T simply forget to put the gear down. Pull your head in!

Sleeping with the enemy

It has been discussed before that Mr HA is apparently actually dating some journalist from the local Darwin newspaper and that many of his embarrasing aviation gaffes are given the soothing treatment when they appear in that particular rag after passing through her hands. His definition of what is "free" and what is not is possibly slightly biased.

Thank god I live in a city with more than one paper now.

I'll let you wind me up on this one...

You have no f*cking idea. Someone has to fly the media, our company is respected in these circles due to our FAST response time. Clients know they can be airborn well within the hour to most destinations.

F*ck off and enjoy flying your big toys, you have made it in aviation so enjoy life as I do, forget about the NT, even though it was probably the best flying you have ever done in your life.

Then again you may be onto a new business strategy, free flights for everyone... The aircraft and pilots would be busy... If you knew me you would know nothing comes for free...

Speedbird fark you... I'll leave my head where ever I want it. See thats the beauty of this site, I say what I feel, I hide behind no name and yet the anonomous attacks fly free...

HA.

p.s. I too wish I could read more than 1 paper... Kinda enjoy it whenever down south...

now now .. back in your corners!

wow HA .. have a bad day lovey .. I think that's THE first time I've ever seen such vitriol uttered under your nic name!

And IF it is of any interest to anyone .. the same rumour about a particular journo does the rounds outside of aviation as well ..

It seems that D & G aviation is really just an avenue for those in the top end to whinge and attack a particular company and a particular person. Damn it gets boring after awhile

I think I'll go back to JB........................

BirdSeed32,
You seem to have alot of knowledge please do tell of your origins, from your callsign one would think you were from "Sweet Chariot" land, are you?
Pray do tell why you know so much about the N.T. and HA?

HA,

since I have been in Darwin there have always been the knockers.

My experienc is that the ones with the most to say about every one else are the ones that need to take the closest look at them selves.

If you are doing such a bad job you should have either gone "leg up" or CASA closed you down.

To the best of my knowledge, neither are applicable so I put it down to sour grapes.

The best that could happen is that these guys and girls brown nose them selves a job down south.

good luck

Sheep Guts,
The reason I know the facts about the incident is I went and asked the Chief Pilot of the company involved what happened.

Well BirdSeed,
If it was that easy to talk to the Chief pilot and divulge information about an accident after it occurred one would feel a little uncomfortable about Company Info wouldnt they?

So Birdseed when is your British Airways interview? With a call sign like youd be a straight in?
