Who are these two NJS Captains?
the guy on the left is Harry O'Neil, affectionately known as the aging nuisance.
On the right is bograt Al Adkins - famous for flying upside down over sydney in a mirage and taking a photo of the reflection in his helmet visor
both nice chaps...

I'm can confirm from photographic evidence that:
The guy on the left is Captain Apple,
previously from Orchard Airways in South Australia (Yes I know - oranges - but no one ever said he fitted in!..... and that may be why he left the company for somewhere that had greater a peel!)
The guy on the right is Captain Banana
- formerly of Coffs Harbour Air Freight (Had to leave 'cause he couldn't fly a straight ILS!)
Sorry, just a bit of fun in these days where fun and enjoyment is officially banned by CASSA!
Enjoy your day!

The old coot on the left with the postage stamp on his head is NJS' future Embraer 170 Director of Flight Operations, and the young sprog on the right is the EMB-170 Fleet Manager.
Dehavillanddriver,
I saw the photo, or one like it. Taken by a RAAF photographer from the front of a two seat Mirage. The miracle was inverted over the Sydney CBD with the pilot's helmet in the foreground. A great photo. One of the best.
