Torres, maaaate! Ya really shooden read PPRuNe after the 5th SP mate! I believe the operative expression in the post by tinned fish is... "taim bilong masta"...

I haven't been there in a bit over 10 years, but am pretty sure it was the same then. I have an idea it got a bit of a spruce up, a few years back, back haven't had any reports. If I'd seen this post sooner, might've been able to ask the Airlink contingent (CB and a host of others), who'll be so pished now that they may not even know who they are...

AAAAHHHH! The scene of the crime.
I used to follow the odd TAA F27 to Madang in my old ex Bushies Aztec in order to secure accommodation with a certain hostie at TAA's expense.
The money I saved wasn't worth it in the end ... she got the house and the Mercedes.
Oh Well ....

Yes met my ex wife there too...in 1987 and it looked then as in the piccies...didn't have a Merc to give the bitch but she got half everything and 12 months later, a few days after the decree nicii Matupi got the rest

Also had a few too many beers there on more than a few occasions...one being with the chap who currently plays James Bond...but in his shipwrecked mode he was hardly debonair...and he don't drink martinis in real life
