Finding an FAA Inspector
Hi. A colleague and I are trying to convert a foreign B787 type rating and have it put on our FAA licenses. This is a requirement at the company we work for.
We have all the required experience on type and qualify for the STAR course. We also have our training arranged and partially completed.
The issue that we have is finding an FAA Inspector to sit in with us for the final sim check. We have been trying to find an Inspector since December 2020 but none have been available for this. We would like to do the check in Dallas but are available to travel to any location in the US to get this completed.
Can anyone please help us with advice on how to find an Inspector or any other solution so we can get this done ASAP and go back to work.
Thanks !

I can only suggest you find those headquarters cities where US carriers who fly the B787 are located and call their training people for a recommendation. A bit of a longshot.
Or, call Boeing training people in KSEA...or thereabouts. They must have or know someone who can help you.
Good luck.
