US Airways flight to BRU

Does anybody know what happened to US 750 today? Apparently they left Philidelphia but turned around over the the Atlantic and went back to Philly in stead of continuing to Brussels? Something to do with the crew being out of duty. Surely they should have made that call before leaving...

You are talking about the 9th,

Sked dep was 1830 local, actually dep was 2116, came back 37 minutes later so maybe they didn't get off the ground.

Dep again at 0215 and returned at 0300

Show time (start of FDP) was 1700 local so they probably timed out, 3 man crew.

They never got to the Atlantic. We go north before heading East normally.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering. When they left the gate again at 2:15 am and had started their duty at 1700pm the day before, they already had over 9hrs of duty. Surely they must have known they were not going to be able to make that flight without exceeding their duty limits.

I wonder why too. All 3 guys were blockholders so they did not re-crew. What else do you have to do while on break except check 117 duty periods?
