Question IACRA distant validation

Hi ALL,

Here is my question: is there any way to valid my AGI application without going to a FSDO?

I'm trying to have an appointment with an FSDO since September and every time I call a FSDO no one answering, I write to airmen branch and they reply contact a FSDO.

I called Rochester FSDO, NY, the automated message say contact a DPE, so I did but the FAA said him he's not allowed to do that.......

Any one have any idea how it can be done??

Advance thanks.
Safe flight

I believe you will have to appear in person. In the FAA guidance for issuing a GI certificate is a note to make sure the applicant can speak and understand English. Since the FAA does not have separate language tests, the "testing" is conducted while you are getting the certificate.
