Talking temporary job @ airport as a German glider guy

Hi,

I wanna live in the US for a couple of month and earn my own money in order to travel around. I am a glider pilot and want to become a CommercialPilot.
I know that I need a J-1 Visa and I will apply for it.
But do u know where I could take a temporary job @ an Airport?

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Best wishes!

Man you gotta be a bit more specific than that, and all jobs in the US require a work permit or green card at the very least.

J-1 visa is no longer for flight training. You need either an M-1 or F-1 visa. You can not work on an M-1 visa (with the exception of practical training which you do at the end of your training).

F-1 visa does not allow you to work "off campus" during the first year. If you are at one of the few F1 visa flight schools, your possible employment prospects would be very very limited.
