Cessna 208 PC
He Guys,
Need some help and advice here !
I am a flying Dutchman with FAA ATP.
Also have a European CPL license with SET (Single Engine Turbine ) endorsement, which allows me to fly the 208.
Got a job in Africa flying the Van.
For validation purposes I need to get some time on a N reg 208 or CFI sign off in my logbook.
Anyone who can advice how to get this done ??
I know of plenty places in the US to get training, but as you know they are not cheap !! Initial 7000 and recurrent 3500.
What I was thinking of maybe, is doing a IPC (sim or actual) on the Van somewhere in the US.
Any traffic, please advice !
Thanks.

if I understand you, you have time on type under JAA, and need time on type under FAA to get a validation to work in Africa?
they want see a stamp from a FAA CFI that you have received training on the 208.
why they don't recognise the JAA?
