FAA to JAL ATPL who's done it

Hello all, well I have been thinking awhile about converting my FAA ratings in a JAL ATPL. Has anybody here done this? How difficult is it? How long does it take? Is it even worth it? I’m employed happily here but my thoughts keep drifting to Europe and I could be working there now, I think, if I had this rating. However, even if I get the ATPL, what about to right to work in Europe? I have heard of a distance learning course though Naples down in Florida, has anybody tried this? Finally, is there anyway around taking the 12 tests? Later

Unless you have the legal right to work in EU, don't bother.

No way around the exams unless you have MPL time (thats multi-crew) and it must be on a heavy aircraft.

It's all on the Naples Air Center website.
