Time will tell!

I am not working in Skyways so this is just long distance rumours

Skyways recruiting?

I have heard two different rumors. One is that skyways will take over lot of formes SC routes and will hire more pilots. Other is that skyways will reduce operations dramatically by autumn. Who knows, who knows...Also is heard that they are negotiating new collective agreement at skyways. Will it be better than previous or worse I don't know.

Hi,

Skyways are looking for pilots, but primarily for their F50 fleet.
It is still uncertain, to what bases they will recruit.
I have heard Halmstad, Jönköping and Kristianstad.

Looks like you'll be in line behind about 500 SAS/SC pilots when applying for a job with skyways.... or air botnia.... or spanair, braathens or widerøe for that matter.

If you're not inside the SAS group at this point, you're up **** creek for the next 2-3 years I'd say.

I do NOT think that, in general, a company like Skyways would prefer to hire SK/SC pilots. But I suppose that if they have the rating, its another matter.

Like in most other airlines, if you know anyone in JZ you should stand a good chance.

I heard the already started interviewing, true?

JZ is currently at SAS FA testing pilot candidates in the F50 sim.... and I haven't seen any SC crews around, so I dont think they will step ahead of other pilots in the JZ case...

Apparently JZ started the invitations to interviews about two weeks ago and already there are people in the sim, course to start on the 15th of July.

as far as getting to an interview, below 1000 hours total, you better know someone at JZ. and who doesn't in this "huge" swedish market...GOOD LUCK!

And for the love of God, step outside and enjoy the sun....

A friend of mine was just offered a position with Skyways. He would be flying the F50 out of Halmstad but turned it down for another offer.

Best of luck to everyone out there looking!
