Are Ostersund (ESNZ), Sweden

Hi guys, apologies for not being able to use your native language as well as you use mine but, got to go to ESNZ for the first time and having had a quick look at the plates I notice that there is no ATIS for the field listed. Anybody with local knowledge (or just knowledge) as to how airfield data is obtained when inbound? Just speak to tower or is it available from another agency/

Thanks in advance, KY

In most rural airports in Sweden, the most up to date info is obtained from the tower. Sweden ctrl reads the latest METAR for you while tower has the most up to date knowledge. You usually check in early (sth like 40 miles out, when handed over from Sweden, assuming you're IFR) since there is no approach freq. of any kind.

Enjoy your flight!
