I'm starting in a new job next month and will be commuting to Oslo (from the west coast of Norway). Anyone else in the same situation who can comment on the best option for housing? (hotel/apartment/?)

Are there any "cheap" accomodations in the Gardermoen area?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Well, I live in Oslo, and it's alright, but it's about a 30-40 minute drive, depending of where in Oslo.
I am guessing your base is OSL?

If so, I do know of a few places, but are you thinking of just a bed and a bathroom, or an apartment?

Here you have a few options.
They are located at Gardermoen (OSL), Ullensaker and Jessheim.
Pretty much 10-15 minutes drive from the airport.
