Ok, I see what you mean regarding salary...
What's the finnish situation on tax and housing expenses? Is it possible (note the word, possible, I'm not looking for luxury here) to stay afloat on 850 euros per month? I know that amount in sweden would make it very difficult to make it if you weren't studying.

Yep, but some are better than others. And many are better than this one (Finncomm). But then again you can't know that if you haven't tried any other options. Of course it all comes down to what you want. Do you want a job you can live on and enjoy for many years or do you just want to try out flying just for the fun of it. I guess in that case it doesn't matter if it costs you more than you get out of it.
