What do/did (delete as applicable)you fly

Good evening all,

Looking at some of the threads posted on here previously, I was wondering whether ppruners would be happy to divulge in what Aircraft they currently or did fly?.

Not to make me jealous or anything.

Cheers!

I was lucky enough to be on the first (and as it turned out the only) course to fly the Wiggins Aerodyne ab initio. As Ppruners will know well, the Wiggins Aerodyne was quite a handful to fly, and after losing four airframes in an afternoon as we attempted to hover solo wearing foggles and with only five hours total time, the experiment was cancelled and the entire course was grounded.

That was the end of my aviation career, sadly. :E

I'll bite. Smallest - Cessna 150, biggest B737 or C130 (they're very close as regards MAUM). Excluding just "a quick pole" a total of fourteen types, single, twin and tri-piston, twin and four-turboprop, two and four-engine jets, single piston helicopter, single and twin turbine helicopter. Every one fun.

Aeronca Champ to C-5 Galaxy, lots in between, including two fighters, five bizjets, one airliner and a bunch of pistons.

Ahhh, the Tiger Moth at Cranwell. I'd just got cleared solo on it when some muppet put it into the trees by the side of North Airfield :{

Types?

A few here and there - for sheer fun it has to be the Chipmunk. Noise generation capability for no speed has to be the Shack.
Scariest? A funny wee yellow thing with a mickey mouse engine downhill take off at Khao Yai and over the edge. Damn near chewed my seat cushion.

Tourist, the question concerned aircraft types, not cranial features....
