Indeed. Now, what exactly was the YF-113H? And did you ever encounter the mysterious YF-113G?

Why is there a black Discovery with dark windows pulling up outsi........:uhoh:

newt 12th Oct 2012 14:15

They are coming to take you away Beags!!

I think its not the number of types flown that is important but how many have been on operational tours!! A piper or cessna is hardly applicable to a mil forum!

I have to agree with LM, quality not quantity is more important and should be reflected in one's profile!

Having flown the fastest and the largest I shall leave it at that!:ok::ok::ok::ok:

I had the opportunity to fly (and see) some interesting aircraft as CO of the 6513th Test Squadron - "Red Hats". Other info according to my records is "Data Masked". :)

My own list as P1 extends to two (Cessna 152/172)

But never a Lightning (boo-hoo).
But I did get about 10 minutes hands-on a T4 ;)

When I was at Nav School one of the staff pilots was reputed to have flown every operational mark of Spitfire. As a stude I never had the nerve to ask an old and hairy staff pilot to see his logbook to check the facts, but I have no reason to doubt it.
