Statement Issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [Kuwait]
Wednesday, June 3, 2026
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Kuwait's condemnation and denunciation, in the strongest terms, of the brutal and ongoing Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles and drones, the latest of which occurred at dawn today, targeting once again civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of one individual, injuries to others, and damage to vital facilities, including diplomatic missions.
The Ministry affirms the State of Kuwait's categorical rejection of Iran's overt aggressive attacks, which lead to increased escalation, heightened tension, and undermine the security and stability of the region, constituting a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026.
The Ministry stresses that the security of the State of Kuwait, its sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory are a red line that cannot be crossed, affirming that the repetition of these aggressions represents an organized aggressive approach, which the State of Kuwait will neither accept nor tolerate.
The Ministry affirms that the State of Kuwait reserves its full and inherent right to take appropriate measures in response to these sinful and repeated Iranian aggressions, in accordance with international law.

In light of the repeated Iranian aggression against the sisterly State of Kuwait and Kingdom of Bahrain, there must be a firm, unified, and cohesive Gulf stance.
For no Gulf state should be left to face targeting alone, as the security of the Arab Gulf states is interconnected, their interests are shared, and their fate is one.
This aggression does not target a specific state, but rather all of us.

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Condemning the Aggressive Attacks by the United States Against an Iranian Oil Tanker and a Telecommunications Tower in Qeshm
(Unofficial Translation) 3 June 2026
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the aggressive action by the terrorist military forces of the United States in attacking an Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and a telecommunications tower on Qeshm Island, which was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, 3 June, originating from the territory of two regional countries.
These aggressive acts constitute not only a violation of the ceasefire understanding dated 8 April, but also a blatant breach of the fundamental principle prohibiting the use of force under Article 2(4) of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
While condemning the United States’ colonial-style use of the territory and facilities of regional countries to advance its aggressive schemes against Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also underscores the direct and explicit responsibility of the rulers of Kuwait and Bahrain in connection with last night’s aggressive acts.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that any country allowing aggressor parties to use its land, sea, airspace, facilities, or military bases located within its territory for the purpose of carrying out or supporting military aggression against Iran is in clear violation of the fundamental rules of international law and, pursuant to United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3314, shall be regarded as having committed an act of aggression against Iran.
In exercising its inherent right to defend Iran’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty, the Islamic Republic of Iran will utilize all available capacities to confront such aggressive actions, including through targeting the origin and source of the attacks.
It is self-evident that responsibility for the consequences and repercussions arising from this situation rests with the American-Zionist aggressors and all parties that facilitate their acts of aggression against Iran by placing their territory and facilities at their disposal.
