Another squadron stood down?

Any truth in the rumour that 230 (Tiger) Sqn has been stood down?

Thanks for the info. It seems that rumours of their demise were greatly exaggerated.

Possibly because the Puma force is being spread about the place at the moment - Cyprus, Brunei, Kenya (I think).
Tried to get a Puma last Friday for a flypast at the funeral of a former CO - seems just a few cabs at Benson and if true, even fewer crews. That's the second time in a month it didn't happen!!

Confounding the “They’ll never last long in RAF service” proponents even further!

1971 to 2028…….57 years can’t be at all bad.
