Ukraine would make a good NATO member, they know what is important, and how to protect their own territory from an aggressor nation. The expectation that Russia would renege on any agreement is well founded on the history of Russia, they certainly have a way of disregarding agreements that is at least consistent. Russia has itself to blame for becoming a pariah nation, the pavlovian response that characterises Russia's acceptance that corruption is business as usual and their govt is what they deserve.

Now in the spirit of Easter, and Eid, and to give an aero flavour to the tawdry business of keeping up with Voldamorts Fort Fumble ensembles escapades, and to preserve balance...

everyone can have a bad day, like waking up in the morning and thinking it is a good idea to invade your neighbour.

What the problem is....

The only civilians and cities attacked so far have been by Russia, deliberately or as own goals. It takes enthusiasm to try to better the turret toss record which stands at around 235' IIRC, by doing it to a peacefully sleeping Lada in a parking lot in Belgorod. Ordinarily, vandalism is not covered by insurance, so that sucks.

I didn’t, the mods did, read the last post on the first one, my name appears simply because my post was the first one when they split the two threads and transferred some posts over.

ahhh... I see it’s already been remarked on

Convoy of newly camouflaged Ukrainian Bradley’s formed up on transporters and carrying new fwd facing arrow tactical markings, rather apt ones for a counterattack if I say so myself.

The self inflicted bomb that hit Belogrod has uncovered another probably left over from the war for the Russians to deal with

Ukraine has signed up for new nuclear power stations from the US, to be up and running 2029… we would still be holding enquiries.

U.S. hits Russia's "shadow fleet": largest oil carrier in India is deprived of international insurance

The shadow fleet of dozens of tankers, which transports Russian oil to Asia bypassing Western sanctions, was hit by the US sanctions.

India-registered Gatik Ship Management, which became a major carrier of oil from Russia last year, has lost international insurance because of a violation of the "price cap" mechanism, Bloomberg reported, citing a source familiar with the situation.

The Mumbai-headquartered company, which nobody knew about until last year, assembled a fleet of 48 tankers with a combined capacity of more than 30 million barrels and worth $1.4 billion. Almost all of the vessels entered Russian ports and exported oil or oil products, a Vortexa analysis showed.

Wow!!

Chinese ambassador to France stating that ex-Soviet republics have no status in international law as sovereign nations.

That should lead to the ambassadors in the Baltic states, and elsewhere, being invited to explain themselves…

A policy of isolationism - don't think many want to be their friends now anyway.
