It is obviously a fly by wire system so should give excellent range provided the cable is light and long enough

Trouble with Houchins is finding one with a charged battery to start the Houchin you want to use, especially if that one has a flat battery too. Then you need to find another Houchin to start that Houchin and so on
I’ve flown the L39. A smashing jet and great fun!

Concur! Caused the boss of the Košice training squadron to spin out of a low-speed scissors during a 1v1 in the overhead. Luckily he managed to recover, albeit well below base ht! He also had a good sense of humour, as I recall.

Perhaps the cables got tangled? That can happen if there is a bit of a crosswind.
