Fair comment ShyTorque.........just as an aside though, the Fire Service never had a problem with the Thatcher Government......especially after the Brighton bombing. Norman Tebbitt remained a staunch ally of the Fire Service. No, all the problems came when Bliar was the big cheese. Apologies for the drift there.
