1958-2018 C130A-E-H and J in RAAF Service

Sixty Years of C130 operation by the RAAF was celebrated at the Clarendon Tavern (on the site of the old Ma's Pub) when members from the original C130A pick-up in 1958 through to current operators enjoyed a great day of recalling old times and learning about how the RAAF works today. Thank you to 37 Sqn Association and Lockheed Marting for making this day possible.

60 Years

It was a great day Lonewolf. I joined the RAAF in Feb 1958 and later spent 10 years on C130A-E-H as a F/E between '68 and '78. Many old friends were there and it was good to catch up and share a beer and a yarn.

Grats on still being alive, I had a few cocktails yesterday with a man who joined the USN in the same year. (We were watching the Woods/Mickelson golf match thing). Glad to here you had a good party and reunion. The Herc's a heck of a bird.
Still looking at the grass from the green side, goodonya!
